Nice place.
Not a bad place a bit dated and could have done with more pillows. Staff in the pub were brilliant very friendly and grub was cracking too.

Basic but worth what I paid
This is definitely a basic room, it has the essentials for a traveller who just needs a room. No frills. The room was clean and the staff for booking in were great. The let down has to be old single glazed windows that don't shut. The decor needs updated. If this place had a bit of money spent it could be magic. That said, you get what you pay for and it was cheap and did what I wanted as a solo guy with a packed weekend. Would use again

Avoid if you like comfort
Check in was ok but the room jeeze the YMCA would have been better. It was tired looking the bed was uncomfortable didnt sleep to good as i had a constant buzzing noise outside the window (chillers or aircon). The shower pressure was so poor I'd of got wetter standing in the rain and had 2 temperatures boiling hot or cold. The bar was nice so were the staff and the food was good but the room i had was a big let down avoid room 2.The wifi in the room was non existent but was good in the bar. Also says they do breakfast but they dont.I wont be staying there afain anytime soon or the future.

2/10 Poor

Less than 1 star
Very tired hotel, entrance looks more like a bed sit than a hotel, in my opinion it’s far too expensive for the conditions of the room and the entrances. Shower was dreadful. Room was clean except for tired marks around the room and a dirty net curtain
