This is our second time staying at this hotel. The staff is always so friendly (shoutout to kuya George). There are a lot of restaurants and convenient stores around the area. It's also within walking distance from the Colosseum! I definitely prefer the rooms at the Annex (as they are bigger - just no elevator).

I have stayed here 5x Monti is now a "hot" area, and a well located place to be. Duca D'Alba is a pleasant, well priced hotel in the middle of the "action"... nice staff, clean rooms... not high end accommodation but perfectly nice, but particularly for solo travelers.... and, sneaky secret, some rooms have private terraces .. ; -)

Room was nice, but needed more attention to little things (used q-tip in bathroom, paper under curtains, fridge didn’t work). AC was great and kept the room almost too cold. Location was good within walking distance of food and attractions (Colosseum was practically around the corner). Front desk staff was helpful when needed. We really enjoyed the hotel. Walking distance to many sites. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the air-conditioning kept it quite cool. (4th floor) it was especially hot in Rome so this was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and the breakfast in the hotel itself. Metro is just up the syreet
