It was easy to pretend that you were at resort somewhere besides Galveston. The pool and outside area was so beautiful. The staff from out by the pool, in the restaurants, the front desk, valet parking, to the cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Nice pool and exterior. If only they put the same amount of care into the rooms, it would be perfect and worth the money. The rooms were very outdated with popcorn ceilings and a lot of painted over caulk. A decent day but not worth the price tag. I did have an issue that a wonderful young lady named Sam fixed.

The San Luis Resort is a very nice property . Very clean . Staff was very friendly as well however , I felt that they were understaffed for breakfast . I wanted to buy a cup of coffee from the lobby cafeteria and it took forever to get it ( there was only one person checking out and preparing the coffee . Same thing happened when we went to eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
