Solo Traveler Without A Car
First off it's possible to get here without a car! I'm not going to explain in detail, look it up if it interests you.
The front desk told me it was okay to walk on the highway to get to trails. I DO NOT recommend this. It was extremely dangerous. I luckily found a way back that was a little safer.
As a VIP member, I'm supposed to get a bottle of wine. I don't drink so I sent the resort a message before the stay. They left me non-alcoholic sparkling apple cider on ice!
Overall the resort is like it's own little town with restaurants, a market, gas station, post office, and so much more. You really don't need to leave the resort if you didnt want to. The lake is pretty and so are the sunsets.

The staff was friendly. The dining was good. The property was old and dirty. They have a beach of the pool and the chalets are dog friendly, however, the dogs were using the beach to relieve themselves. There was trash everywhere. We expected more from a $400 a night stay. They should be more mindful of these things. We rented a boat and got motion sick and they would not refund us our money for the additional 2 hours we paid for. They had a party somewhere and the music being played was from 10:00 am 8:00 PM. with no regard to the other guests. Sadly we will likely not go and stay there again.

Our room overlooked the lake and it was beautiful to wake up and look out. I liked that it was like a little town where you can walk around and do grocery shopping or just go to a restaurant. If your going to visit Yosemite I would recommend this place

Nice location
The grounds were maintained well. Shops were nice. Our chalet was okay, needed better kitchen pots, and silverware. Also it would have been nice to know prior to arrival that only has charcoal grill and not gas. Room was clean and bedding was comfortable.
