This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the amenities are outstanding. Pretty convenient and walkable to many train stations. We loved the breakfasts, the nightime ramen, all-day matcha lattes, popsicles/ice cream, massage chairs, and on-site onsen! Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Very easy for non Japanese speaking travelers and great for families with children.

The hotel flooring throughout is tatami and shoes must be removed upon entering - this keeps the property very clean! The room was compact but furnished for access and functionality. The best part of this hotel is it's onsen - wonderful!

Loved every second of being in the hotel. I unfortunately couldn't go to the hot springs because of my tattoo but my friend says they were unbelievably relaxing. Despite not being able to go there there was still lovely massage chairs as well as free ice cream, dinner and coffee. The entire feeling of the hotel was very unique and comforting. Getting your own clothes to wear while there and having comfortable, spacious rooms and padded floors, it was lovely and I will definitely stay there again when traveling back to Kyoto.

The stay was okay . The matcha was to sweet for my liking. Sure waste a-lot of paper cups having matcha guess no way around that. Did not have any not sweet yogurt during breakfast .
