The building is older but modern and the location is great for downtown activities. Walking distance to Palmer Event center South Congress (SoCo) shopping district as well as food. Affordable Comfort Near S Congress & Bat Bridge

This has been our go-to hotel in Austin for literally decades. It’s a 10 minute walk to the heart of South Congress St, the Bat Bridge, and Town Lake, and offers all the amenities you would want for an extended stay. The staff will go way above and beyond to help out, including receiving packages, providing kitchen items, and arranging very late check out times. This Extended Stay may be the last affordable hotel in one of the most expensive cities in the entire US and we highly recommend it! Eat at Sandy’s across the street!!
