Had a 2 day stay at Buxted Park Hotel for a family wedding. The facilities were amazing. The rooms for the ceremony were spacious, clean and well able to cater for the wedding guests. The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing well cooked and catering for all tastes. The gardens and surrounding park is well kept, restful and beautiful. There is plentiful seating areas to sit and enjoy the views. Our room, (standard) was large, clean with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, safe, large wardrobe a clean well stocked bathroom, etc. Our room on the ground floor overlooked the garden. All in all a lovely hotel with all you need for a wonderful stay.

On our arrival Franco showed us a possible upgrade of our room which was value for money. Rob got us our lunch and couldn’t do enough to please. Phill is another asset to the company seating us to breakfast and showing us the Suites. Trisha was the the lady making the rooms and again really helpful, after this stay we will be back

Comfortable but not the Jane Austin Fantasy
Beautiful main house but most of the rooms are in the buildings annexes along with the breakfast so you really don’t spend time in the charming old part unless it’s for a wedding function. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and As a wedding venue it seemed great but for a ‘normal’ stay it’s a bit disappointing if you want the ‘Jane Austen’ film set from the inside!

Dining room very soulless, lacked atmosphere and "felt" cold. Apparently we were not alone in this feedback and something is being done to rectify this. Menu was disappointing and didn't change from day to day, in fact we had to select from the room service menu on our last night. Amazingly the white ball in the snooker set, looked very second hand and was a different size to all the other balls.
