Charming, unique hideaway in a remarkable village.
Very charming, intimate unique place. Pretty quiet for Mexico. Each room is completely different. Gardenia room had fewest stairs to navigate. Bed was pretty firm and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and everyone in the hotel was chatting and sharing info. The drawbacks were the water pressure is extremely weak and the privacy curtains were not sufficient to prevent the courtyard spotlight from beaming into the room at night making it difficult to avoid. We put blankets and towels all over the windows to block out the light with some success. Even given the drawbacks, we loved the place and the service.

This is a gem of a bed and breakfast, an oasis of peace and beauty, with gorgeous furniture and art. The staff are so kind, warm and accommodating. Don’t hesitate to stay here. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The rooms all face inward on a lovely courtyard full of beautiful blooms. We had a coffee pot, micro, fridge and fan in the room and a lovely outdoor patio area. The full hot breakfasts were excellent and the staff just great. Also full housekeeping services every day.

Though not "downtown" Casa Flores's quiet location allows easy walking to most of Ajijics attractions, restaurants, businesses, etc., and the bus that runs through town streets goes right past it. The room was small but fine for one person. Everything worked (but working the TV was rather mysterious). There's no AC but it wasn't really needed on the lower floor. The breakfast included basic Mexican classics basically presented. I never went in the small pool but it was used everyday by others. It helps to speak Spanish, of which I have only a little, but staff has enough English for mutual understanding. The room wasn't quite dark enough at night for me but OK and the ever present barking dogs elsewhere were quite rare and muted. I'd go back.

Hay mucha dificultad para estacionarte. Ya que no hay estacionamiento, es en la calle y casi nunca encuentras. Las dos señoras que vi fueron muy muy amables, pero es un lugar muy chico, tanto que no hay demasiado control de nada, había gente hospedada haciendo un ruido exagerado con música de Banda a media noche y no hay a quien reportar como que no se queda nadie, no hay recepción, no hay nada. Mire que hablaban muy bien del desayuno, no diría que nada extraordinario, algo sencillo (huevo con verduras o jamón) y una poca porción. La alberca tiene el agua fría porque depende de un calentador solar y no había sol. El lugar está bonito pero con alrededores medio feos.
