The hotel is an old Ottoman house and old decor is really not our thing. There are other things that are old in the hotel like the towels, the flat iron and in our room the hair blower is not really functioning well.
Location wise, it is the best for us. It’s near to almost every tourist spots in old city. Me and my partner enjoys walking so we never had to use taxi during our stay except for going to the airport. If you are planning to go visit the new city, the tram station and bus station is just walking distance as well. Lots of restaurants nearby as well and a there’s a small grocery store right in front of the hotel in case you need something.
Breakfast buffet was something we look forward to everyday. The buffet spread was not that much but was enough to satisfy our morning cravings. Food served was not that disappointing. The view from the restaurant is great.
We were In Istanbul for my birthday actually and I appreciated it so much that they were so courteous to leave a small birthday cake and a greeting in the room. 😊
Overall, it was not bad all. Worth every penny that we paid for. Staff were very accommodating as well.
