Loved this hotel and I would stay again!!
Hotel was beautiful!!! Decor was antique but tasteful, staff was very friendly and food was great, I had the buffet brunch on sunday 9/17 . I’m just sad I didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or the spa.

We loved all the grounds and outdoor areas.Raul was our server at several meals and gave us friendly, personal service each time. The rooms are large and comfortable. Overall, the facilities could use an upgrade, but have been nicely maintained.

The property is ok. The furniture linen and facilities are old and need maintenance. The staff and prices are great. The room cleaning was not too good. We found a cockroach and a spider when we arrived and we noticed that housekeeping did not sweep or mop the bedroom.

This is a nice feel of inner Mexico, not Cancun destination. The hotel is located in Rancho Cortes. The central building is a beautiful mansion with courtyard built in 1930s in Spanish Mexican style. Most of the hotel are one story concrete structures built around 1960-1970s. There are few buildings 3-4 stories high. The units have authentic Mexican feel, but are not renovated to Hilton or Marriott standard. The courts at the hotel are hard surface and very well maintained. The food is authentic Mexican food. Most of the staff doesn't speak English but you can always find someone who does. If you want to go outside, the best option is to order Uber. Taxis are not recommended, as you don't know who you are driving with, plus they charge you twice the Uber price because they see an English speaking tourist. We had a nice time in Cuernavaca!

No vale lo que cuesta
Nuestra experiencia en el Hotel Racquet Cuernavaca fue, en términos generales, decepcionante. Aunque no fue completamente mala, sentimos que el precio pagado no corresponde con la calidad del servicio ofrecido. El personal del hotel es amable, pero poco atento. Desde nuestra llegada, hubo inconvenientes: al trasladar nuestro equipaje del estacionamiento a la habitación, las maletas se cayeron un par de veces, algo que dejó una mala primera impresión. Además, las llaves de la habitación constantemente se desconfiguraban, lo que nos obligaba a ir repetidamente a recepción para reprogramarlas. Este problema se agravaba porque la recepción está bastante alejada de las habitaciones. El hotel cuenta con canchas de tenis, pero utilizar las instalaciones en la noche tiene un costo extra, al igual que el préstamo de raquetas, las cuales se encuentran en mal estado. Esto nos pareció un detalle poco considerado para un lugar que presume de ser especializado en este deporte. Por otro lado, el agua de las regaderas es un punto crítico: no sale caliente. Si tienes suerte, puede estar tibia, lo cual no es aceptable para un hotel de este nivel de precio. En conclusión, aunque el personal es amable, los problemas de mantenimiento, los costos adicionales por servicios básicos y las fallas en las comodidades hacen que no recomendemos este hotel. Por el precio, hay opciones que ofrecen una experiencia mucho más satisfactoria.
