Charming hotel. Rooms were a bit odd with very low furniture that was not especially comfortable or easy to sit in. Very noisy bed when either of us moved at all. But the views are amazing. The location is super convenient to the waterfront, aquarium and Cannery Row plus a lot of very good dining options. The Breakfast was very tasty and the staff were very friendly and service oriented.

This is a wonderful property. I choose it for the proximity to the beach and walking distance to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Check in was simple and we were delighted with the room and the dining room as well as the lovely sitting room across from our room (Art Deco). Breakfast was delicious and the dining room overlooked the Bay. Every breakfast was different and delicious, and the coffee was good and strong. The staff was friendly also.

super quaint and cute! Wish the shower was tall people friendly for the Monterey room, but the room itself was stunning. The courtyard needs a bit of a clean up, and the complimentary coffee and water were cold. Other than that we loved the view from breakfast and from the front of the inn! Very picturesque.

The room was quaint but funky. The headboard on the bed squeaky loudly and there were a lot of steps within it which we had to be very careful to not trip on in the dark. There also was no TV, which we hadn’t noticed when we made our booking. That said, it was very well located to enjoy the Monterey Peninsula and reasonably priced for what you got.
