Family fun at Clayton Sligo

Amazing time at the Clayton in Sligo. So family friendly and staff could not do enough for us. Really recommend thia hotel. Rooms were fabulous, huge and had everything we needed.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 teenage sons. The hotel was a bit further out of town than i thought. The service and food were good. One draw back was the bar closed early and they did not offer residents bar service either.

The staff was amazing. Clean, neat and the breakfast was wonderful. The receptionist at the restaurant was a fire ball of energy. She did it all and with a smile too. Lovely person. The other staff was amazing too. So polite and friendly, even though many patrons were rude and arrogant they smiled though it all. Good job to all staff and people running this place.

Did not live to expectations and lack of service.

Not very good experiences. The room was at least 200 yards from the reception it felt like much longer. Two of the guests having mobility issues. When we checked in staff clearly see two persons with walking sticks and difficulties to walk around but they never mentioned the room was so far away and get through at least 6 or 7 doors with luggages. Also they only left everything enough for 2 people not 3. Room safe not working.

Loved this hotel. Food was ok. The only thing was a weird smell in the room for the two days we stayed. It was like a sour or stale smell. Service was excellent. Staff couldn't be better. Family friendly. The smell was off putting though. Facilities good.

Recommend for customers with poor mobility

I had a double room booked as my mum has mobility issues. Staff could not have been more helpful. They recommended the floor with the most suitable room and one close to the lift. At breakfast they found a table with suitable access for a wheelchair. Highly recommend the hotel and it's staff for people in a similar situation
