Practically Perfect 👌
Excellent from start to end. Greeted warmly at check in and our dog Nova was also warmly welcomed. We were in room 1 and it is stunning. We loved the retro vibes and the sea view. My husband especially loved the working record player. Bathroom was beautiful and smelled divine thanks to the lovely toiletries. Love that they have used Scottish brands! Also had wee extras like a shaving kit and debtal kit. The power from the shower was fantastic. We had dinner here too and it was fab. The staff were super friendly and efficent. Food was lovely and well presented, I loved the plates. My salmon was slighly over done but it was still delicious and I beleive it was locally caught. Hubby said the steak pie was amazing, he also loved the mango and apple crumble. The bed, my goodness I wanted to take it home it was so comfortable! Breakfast is continental which I know isn't everyones cup of tea but was ideal for me. Bread, smoked cheese, tomatoes, fruit, yogurts, smoothies, pastries, juices, meat, soft cheese, cereals, tea and coffee. Ideal! All in all we had a lovely night and I'm only annoyed that I couldnt stay longer.

Co-op reduced aisle breakfast!
Small rooms but worked fine for me as I was on my own and just staying one night. Would be worth upgrading if you’re a couple or staying longer. The en-suite is nice and has conditioner which is always a win! Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room as well as a record player. Breakfast wasn’t really worth getting up for, very basic continental- the fruit salad had gone off and smelt of vinegar and the pastries, cheeses and meats weren’t the best quality- kind of felt like they raided the co-ops reduced aisle! Overall fine for crashing for the night but not sure I’ll be back.

First day in Scotland
The folks who run the Reba boutique are super friendly Breakfast and dinner last night was delicious. Really good location with free parking across the street. Our room didn’t have a view, but we had one double bed and a pullout sofa. Bathroom was really clean. I would recommend this place for a family.

No hot water to have a shower on both days. Breakfast not that exciting. Room very small for a twin room needed to keep light on all of the time due to not very big window.

4/10 Fair

Small double rammed into a single room.
Pros: - Friendly staff who cant do more for you - recently renovated - good location - good continental breakfast Cons: - a double room was booked, however A small double bed was crammed into a single room for us with not enough space to move or unpack. - bathroom was tiny, incredibly difficult to use. The sink was coming out into the middle of the already limited space. - shower door didnt close and opened into you whilst showering. - dressing table drawers couldnt be used as they were blocked by a wall. - old, very springy mattress. - very bright fire light on all night which kept us up, along with the door that rattled all night.

Nice decor. Got walked in on by staff whilst changing. Very hot with no opportunity to open windows. No hot water for shower in the morning. No offer for any compensation when complaint was heard.

The food was superb with lovely decor. Very friendly staff. They could do with a full length mirror and shelf and hooks for coats in the room. Wonderful shower. Beware the kitchen shuts at 8pm. Could do with brightening the outside of the hotel as not very inviting from the outside, loads of free parking over the road. I would go there again.

They did delete a few items from their Gluten Free list for food, breakfast is not a cooked one anymore also. The staff was very nice and helpful. Very clean location and in the center of the town.

Poor Customer service, in the bedroom & bathroom things are broken and not working properly. Late night the hotels was audible because there was a pub next room near the reception. The breakfast was disappointing with no hot meals just continental breakfast. Lastly early check out of 10 am with no comprise and extra fee charged for later check out. Very disappointing stay 😟

Welcomed by a very friendly lad who was new to the hotel. Room small but clean and good price. Very dog friendly. Sunday evening and told by rather sullen manager (who did mellow slightly) that we couldn't have anything to eat. Eventually agreed we could (info said last order 8.45 and this was about 8). Excellent pizza and salad with friendly waiting staff.
