What a lovely find. This is a hotel, not a B&B, with a gorgeous pool area, a lovely breakfast and Prosecco in the lobby each afternoon. They seem to be renovating and upgrading, making it even better. The bed in our room was very nice, as was the bedding and the shower was excellent. Lots of hot water, good pressure and easy in and out. Would love to stay here again.

I just want to preface this review by saying that I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews, normally keep them to myself. Firstly, not the easiest to get to by public transport. The bus stop is only 5-10 mins walk, but it’s up quite a hill without a safe footpath. With suitcases this isn’t an enjoyable task especially when the gravel driveway makes wheeling the luggage very hard. Anyway, on to the hotel. The decor of our room did not look like the rooms which were depicted on the website. It was very very dated and just didn’t look nice. The beds were quite uncomfortable. Despite our room being not far from the reception area, the wifi connection was not strong enough to use in the room. The restaurant at the hotel was poor. The food was not good (including very undercooked pasta) and the service was extremely slow (over an hour and 15 mins from ordering for 2 pastas to be served). The restaurant staff were not overly helpful. The pool area is beautiful, but everything else needs an update. San Gimignano is a lovely town, but probably wouldn’t stay here next time

Lage perfekt, sonst eher naja
Wir sind hin und hergerissen. Zimmer:Junior Suite war toll. Das Bett war super. Es war toll eingerichtet und sehr hochwertig. Auf der Empore war eine Ausziehcouch die für die dritte Person war und leider für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse inakzeptabel. Restaurant: quasi nicht vorhandener Service und nur mäßiges Essen (auf der Toskanareise bislang das schlechteste). Die Pasta war nicht durch und klebte an den Zähnen, die toskanaplatte wurde auf einem Brett mit einem Ikea branding serviert…bei jedoch durchaus üppigen Preisen Einen Fitnessraum oder eine Sauna fehlten, und das in einem spa Resort. Das einzige was wirklich passte war die Lage

Abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti per una vacanza di relax e visita delle città vicine, struttura scelta soprattutto per la piscina che è molto bella e ben tenuta (con fornitura di teli). Camera standard con balcone, ottima doccia, pulizie ok anche se non eccezionali. Ottimo wifi. Parcheggio gratuito. Colazione abbastanza ben fornita con buoni prodotti.
