Housekeeping lets this hotel down ….
The hotel itself was nice, reception staff were friendly and helpful, location is good and breakfast ok, however house keeping left a lot to be desired. When we arrived the towels in our room were dirty and one had a blood stain on it. On the second day our room was not serviced at all and we had to ask reception for towels the next morning. Later in the week we were left no hand towels at all. Apart from the housekeeping issue and having to beg for towels we had a nice stay but this is a budget standard hotel. Beware if you are offered a courtyard view, we booked this room but there was no view at all apart from the opposite rooms which were very close. There was a balcony but not much point in it unless you want to peer into the rooms around you.

Our staying was very good. The cleanliness was perfect but the cleaning stuff was too short. Every day cleaning at about 18:00 o'clock in the afternoon. Need also upgrade at the terrace. A Bar or a kitchen to serve food at night.

Very good, but the A/C in the room wouldn't allow any thing higher than 20C which is far too cold in a hot climate and spoiled our sleep. Bathroom mirror was missing. Breakfast was excellent. Roof top pool looked fun, though the bar was shut.

Great hotel. Very new. Swanky. Reception staff excellent but breakfast serving staff could do with looking at how SL Bayview and Sliema build relations with clients rather than just clear plates. Bed and bedding excellent. Lovely and quiet and after all my stays finally realised how the smart tv worked! Kettle etc and nice toiletries in room.

The property is a modern a well located hotel, to discover the area. We found our room on the 10th floor very noisy. You can hear doors slamming all day and night, people chatting outside in the corridor and the lift ‘pinging’. The bed was not comfortable at all. The bottom sheet didn’t fit and throughout the night we kept having to tuck it in. It was almost too small for the bed. Also I noticed no mattress protection or pillow protection. The air conditioning was turned off and we were very hot especially at night. We could open the balcony doors but it was too noisy. No sunlight on the balcony at any time of the day. No storage in the bathroom. No glasses in the room. No drinking water bottles. Thin towels sometimes marked. Swimming pool and pool bar shut. Although we did pull at some sun loungers and make the most of relaxing in the sun. Breakfast is basic but what food there is tastes acceptable. We asked for GF bread and this was available. I wouldn’t stay here again and feel I am leaving more tired than when I arrived.

The receptionist, Ivana, was extremely accommodating and helpful. However, the male staff member at the front desk during the night shift was impolite and discourteous, showing no initiative in attending to guests. We raised a concern about the shower knob to the front desk, but it was only addressed on the third day after we informed Ivana. The location of the hotel is convenient for tourists.

Beautiful hotel built in 2023 ! Hotel has a modern appeal , nice sized bedrooms, beautiful balconies, lovely rooftop views and pool but seasonally closed ! Breakfast is free and has lots of options!Hotel is close to marina and tons of restaurants along the way !airport is only 12 mins way and cost 12 dollars with UBER ! Hotel staff members are super sweet especially front desk staff and my room attendant daisy who did an excellent job with housekeeping!I visited in January 2024 but Will definitely be back for the summertime to enjoy the lovely beaches and surroundings! Will choose Alavits hotel again it’s conveniently located and exceeded my expectations!

Amazing value for money!
Absolutely brilliant stay! We were able to check in early which was amazing! Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Location of the hotel is great, very close to promenade, restaurants and public transport. I would highly recommend it, I'll be back.

Particularly peeved that the pool area is closed off in the evening (and presumably wouldn't be if the bar were open), and could therefore not use roof for any of the festival watching! The hotel had just opened a couple of days before which was evident as one of the lights in our bathroom was still dangling from the ceiling - not particularly safe in a room where you're using water but I'd hope it will be fixed soon. Sadly we were forced to cut our holiday short within hours of arriving, due to a death in our family. Despite our pleas and the support of Expedia, the hotel have refused to refund a penny, instead repeatedly referring us to the terms in curt emails. Even a 'sorry for your loss' was evidently too much to ask for. To Alex Jaswal, enjoy your bonus while I'm trying to comfort my heartbroken wife at her dad's funeral. I can only hope others never have to deal with you.

Grand opening stay
This hotel opened on Jun 15th and still had workers completing things and fixing one of two elevators, but the staff was very nice and helpful. I feel that the hotel should have been completely ready before opening…I arrived very tired and wanting to nap, and had to ask for a curtain in my room and the phone didn’t work. Overall, comfortable stay; but the positioning of the air condition blows directly on you in bed. Breakfast was ok, glad they had gluten free bread option. The coffee from the machine was not good and they can’t froth non-dairy milk for you. In time I’m sure they will have everything worked out! There are rooms with partial sea view from the balcony. Great location in Sliema. Close walk to Starbucks, the ferry, and F45 gym.

Do not book - Hotel does not exist yet
Terrible terrible stay, or lack of. The hotel was not close to completion, they bait and switched us to a much older and lower grade hotel that they own, they would say it's an "upgrade" and how the other hotel is even better yet it was old, and moldy and also has a silly sensor that cuts off the AC when there is no movement, so expect no AC when you sleep. Do not fall for this.
