Amazing location and pool makes the room bearable
The location of this hotel is superb. The pool overlooking the lake is second to none and was worth the stay for that alone. The restaurant put on a great dinner as well. The actual hotel room was simple and sufficient, but the mattress had a really musty smell that kept me up for hours, until I used towels as a barrier to block the smell. The breakfast should be skipped as well. But oh that view from the pool!

Lovely short stay
We had a lovely one night stay before heading to Malpensa, which was about 1 1/2 hours away. The hotel is right on the lake, we didn't get lake view rooms as they were full but the restaurant has a lovely view. There is a good pool (unheated) but most guests swam in the lake from the decking. An added bonus was the pedallo and canoes which were available to rent at a very reasonable Euro 10/hr.

The large room was amazing, looking out onto Lake Orta. Plenty of storage space. Really pleased that there were a fridge, safe (altho I failed to master it after many tries) & a kettle. The bathroom looked smart, the shower was good. The 'modern' sink didnt have plug, weird, so couldn't wash 'smalls'. The fan was the loudest I've ever encountered in a hotel bathroom. A very welcoming, extremely well located hotel in one of the most beautiful locations in Italy. perfect situation on the lake
Chosen for its relaxing atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and we would certainly go back there again but ask for a room with a balcony as apart from the bed we had nowhere to sit.
