I didn't realize this was a newly opened (historic & renovated) property when we booked our stay, but the newness was evident throughout. Everything was clean, shiny, and bright, with small (as other reviewers have pointed out) but comfortable guest rooms. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room, so the room size didn't matter. It had everything we needed with nice, luxury touches - robes, slippers, cool eco-friendly refillable water bottles to take home, fabulous shampoo and soaps, and the cutest little gold flat iron that will be my go-to the next time I play monopoly! Another nice touch: the building housed offices in the 1920s, and there are plaques next to many rooms with interesting details about what used to be that room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location couldn't be more convenient. They offer valet parking, but there's a public parking garage about a half-block away. Highly recommend the Flat Iron!
