Hotel needs to be updated
Not "wonderful" as reviews claim. I had a perfectly comfortable room that was clean. But everything about the hotel is shabby. This place needs to be updated with painting, new towels, and amenities like soap.

Abysmal space and terrible service - impossible to stay here and especially do not come as a couple, it's the most romantic place on earth. Noisy, cheap, bad location, etc.

Immediately no...
I had a terrible experience at this hotel to the extent I left and didnt even finish my stay and left after 2 nights. There is probably 1 staff member for the entire hotel, so when I arrived in the afternoon I waited for 20 minutes bc the desk was empty - when I called the number the phone on the desk just rang and no one came. Overall the hotel has a overwhelming feeling of cheapness - lots of plastic, thin walls, not super clean space. The room itself was extremely small, which could be fine but the noise, thin walls, and poor setup was an extreme turnoff. (no mattress pad on the bed, extremely thin cheap towels, etc). The bathroom is so small as a petite woman my knees hit the wall. As I was having a friend join me, I decided to change hotels as this room is impossible for two people. I had paid extra fees upon check in for an additional guest, which the hotel refused to refund even though I left early, and the second guest never came. Overall, I would never step foot in this hotel again and do not recommend unless you are on a low budget and dont care much about where you stay. Its also very far from the fun parts of Paris.

Simple room decorated to a high standard. Would have appreciated additional pillows and herbal tea options. Limited hotel facilities and a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest metro station. Water was available on request but would have been better in the room.

Stayed 6 nights, loved the Single room, beautifully decorated and very well designed to include everything needed, with great storage space. It was spotlessly clean. Staff were unfailingly helpful and very pleasant. Surroundings are great for shops and on the run food options as well as sit down ones and particularly liked the Rue des Boulets area. Excellent transport links too. Will stay again if possible to get a booking.

Great stay!
Had a lovely stay. We opted for a small room as planned to be out so we knew we would have a lot of room, but the closet was a decent size and had ample hanging area too. Comfy bed and a/c was great as Paris was having very hot weather. Location perfect for access to RER and Metro. Great local restaurants too.

Perfect hotel for exploring Paris!
Lovely little hotel. Friendly and super helpful staff - we dropped our bags off early and they were waiting in our room for us! Quiet location for a good nights sleep and easily accessible by public transport. Short & direct journey into central Paris. Rooms small but functional, clean and modern. Although not used there was a good variety of local amenities; bars, shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Almost great
A nice stay. The hotel is clean and had a nice renovation. Location is great. Only down side is that the walls are paper thin, you have to specifically ask at the front desk to get the heat/aircon ‘activated’, and a small point but we asked for ice and they didn’t have any. They said they would get some for the next day but this never happened. Not a big deal though. Would stay again.

Lovely stay for 2 friends
We enjoyed our stay at District Nation. It was very clean and we found it quite safe coming back late at night, as it’s only a 5 minute walk from Nation station. The location was good as we were visiting both Disneyland and the central tourist sites. There are also plenty of local bakeries and cafes nearby, so a great stay if you want to experience somewhere less touristy. The staff were friendly and tidied the room each day, including changing the towels if requested. The only downside was that the soap provided in the shower was a 3-in-1 hair, body and hand soap, so you might want to bring your own shampoo and shower gel!

Great hotel, some noise though
We stayed in a double room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and well presented. It was clear that the room had been recently renovated. Room decor is modern, with stylish ginko wallpaper and a relaxing green, white and wicker theme. Bed was comfortable and we both slept well. The room had a wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and three shelves. Enough space for two people's clothes for a week. There was also a small desk, with kettle and coffee/tea making facilities. Ensuite bathroom has a rain shower. In relation to some other people's comments about the noise from the stairs. Yes, it is possible to hear people coming down the staircase, but don't think this warrants a complaint. Most people were stepping and talking quietly. I'm sure people passed who made no noise at all. The chairs are another matter however. We could hear other people moving chairs in the rooms all around us. It was very loud and annoying. And I guess the noise from our chair was also annoying for other guests. We tried to avoid moving it at all. I was woken a few times by the noise of chairs from other rooms. But only momentarily There is no option to not have housekeeping in your room. I did ask specifically for housekeeping to leave my room alone. But the tidied it anyway. Which I found very annoying. Don't forget your shower gel. There is some supplied but it feels like it's too diluted.

I'm really happy I chose District Nation for my Paris trip. It was perfect for my needs, and the proximity the Metro allowed me to get just about anywhere I wanted to go in the city. Staff were friendly and the room was kept up nicely. I'd definitely stay here again!
