We loved our stay at this hotel! Great location, walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are cute and quite clean.very quiet at night. Breakfast included pastries, fruits, and decent coffee. Overall, a very pleasant stay — I would definitely come back in the future.

Our stay was very much a tale of two halves. We were originally booked into the Barberini retreat, but upon check in were swiftly disappointed. The room we were given didn’t really reflect the pictures we saw during booking. It was one of two tucked away behind reception and frankly, looked a bit like a former office or store room converted to a room. Suffice to say I’ve seen pictures of Scandinavian prisons that look comparable. The saving grace was that when I went round the corner to their sister hotel Ivan was extremely accommodating. Since there were no rooms left at the retreat, Ivan understood our displeasure with the room and offered us a modest upgrade in the Barberini 16 at no extra charge. Had he not done this we’d have probably been looking for other accommodations. After getting us set up in a new room the stay was rather pleasant and all the staff very friendly and accommodating. Overall, nice hotel as long as you’re ok running the slight gamble you may get assigned the converted store room as your accommodations

This place was not only great, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They offered to hold our bags after checkout so we could further explore the city while we waited for our train. When we came back they treated us like guests still, offering us water and the facilities for as long as we needed. They had very helpful tips on places to dine also. Great location also.
