Spacious room - simple but exactly what you’d expect from this affordable option. Easy commute into Brighton Centre by bus or UBER. Clean property. Would say bedding was pretty poor. Bedsheet was bobbly and duvet was very thin. Apart from that - great option for a bed to stay for a night or 2. All staff were friendly. Didn’t see much of the students walking around or making noise and all short stay bookings are kept in one area.

This is a basic property (Student accommodation) but it is in a great location; close to the centre but quiet. It has a kitchen, if you need it so all bases covered. Multiple buses mean getting to Brighton is quick and easy.

You can normally get a pretty good value stay here during the summer, buuut with some caveats. The staff were lovely, no complaints there - but the room itself had some problems. The main issue was that it was very hot, and it wasn't possible to have both the window open and the blinds drawn. (It is loud outside - you're next to train tracks - but I can deal with noise. Not heat!) The staff couldn't provide me with a fan when I asked. It was a little bit too easy to hear what was going on in the corridor, so while the walls weren't thin, the doors were. The shower was bad. The showerhead was gammed up with limescale, the door had unhooked and I couldn't get it back in, and the automatic light kept turning off while I'm in the shower (it was *pitch black*). Lastly, the mattress was thin and uncomfortable, and the provided bedsheets were loose so the duvet and pillows kept falling out.
