I really liked the hotel; its location was nice and the breakfast was quite good as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning from a meal I ate at the Oriella restaurant located above the hotel. I had to check out early and cut my trip short. I was treated for two days due to fever, diarrhea, and vomiting. This hotel has left me with a very bad memory.

The room was really nice. However, the lifts are too long. Hotel was full and it was taking 5min to wait for lifts. Breakfast area was nice but could have a more variety of choice. However, the main picture on Expedia page is misguiding. There is no beach around that hotel, not even a lagoon.

Below Expectations Overall The room was acceptable, though quite small. The shower was disappointing—the water drained very slowly and was only warm, never properly hot. The lobby was crowded at all times, which made it feel hectic rather than welcoming. Staff knowledge was inconsistent, especially regarding the club or lounge area. Some staff members said it didn’t exist, while others directed us to the Orilia restaurant, which was confusing. Breakfast was below average, and each morning our clothes smelled strongly of oil and cooking due to poor ventilation. The spa itself was fine, but the oil used during the treatment had an unpleasant odor that lingered on my clothes even after I changed. I also emailed the hotel requesting my booking confirmation number and never received a response, which was disappointing.
