Do not sell rooms with unusable amenities!
Dear Director of the Inturotel Group,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the experience my partner and I had during our recent stay at your hotel in Mallorca. We booked a junior suite with a swim-up private pool, expecting this feature to enhance our experience.
Unfortunately, when we attempted to use the pool, we found it to be freezing cold and completely unusable. This was extremely disheartening, especially given that none of the outdoor pools at the hotel were heated, rendering them equally unusable during our stay.
At no point during the booking process were we informed that the pools were unheated.
This lack of transparency significantly affected our ability to enjoy what we had hoped would be a key element of our stay. We feel that we were misled about the room’s amenities, as we had every expectation that the pool would be comfortable and functional.
We initially raised our concerns with the hotel manager, hoping for a reasonable solution. However, we were extremely disappointed with the response we received. The refusal to offer any form of part refund for a clear shortfall in the quality of our stay only added to our frustrations. We are deeply upset by how this situation has been handled. If this is still unresolved then we will be left with no other option but to put through a credit chargeback claim via the bank.
