The front office staff were cheerful and helpful. Edith greeted us and graciously changed our room to a first floor when she could see that our ages and number of bags would make a 2nd floor stay difficult. The overall room size (king bed) was comfortable. They do not clean daily, except by request. We needed dry towels for the next day, because the ventilation in the bathroom was insufficient to dry those we had used. I put in a request the next morning and the housekeeper forgot us. When I went back to the front office, we were taken care of immediately with the requested towels brought to our door. Of note: there is no closet or hanging space. There was a rustic bar that looked like it was put up for hanging space, but was too low to the floor to be useful. The bathroom was small and clearances between the fixtures and the door so tight that persons of size might have difficultly using the facilities. We were otherwise very happy with the facility, staff helpfulness, price and convenience to museums and restaurants.

The property needs some love. An update and painting would greatly improve the motel. The room was acceptable and there seems to be new carpet in the hall. However, there was no information about WiFi when we checked in. One employee told us there was no WiFi. It is very difficult to communicate with the staff due to a language barrier. Only stay here if there is no other choice.

Not impressed with our stay
Room was small but I was going for money saving budget. Hotel offers no breakfast but will sell a few candy bars or chips for about 3.50. No Iron or ironing board in room. No microwave but there is a fridge. Front desk was friendly and helpful but talked very fast like they are used to rambling off the instructions and I had a hard time keeping up the speed of the routine instructions. Rooms are smoke free but guests smoke outside their rooms with the doors open allowing smoke to permeate the room and any rooms nearby. There should be a rule to not smoke within 25 feet if the rooms. Hotel Location right on Main Street and close by several attractions and restaurants which was good. But I don’t know if I would stay again.

Excellent!!
We have been on several around the country tours the past few years. This is by far the quietest, cleanest and most comfortable bed we have stayed in! The room is small but no complaints with the size with all the other positive things. Even the air conditioning worked properly!!! Great place to stay!
