Some mixed experiences with staff. Front desk were pretty good, smiling, helpful and spoke English. But they failed to provide a receipt for an extension of our stay, leading to arguments about whether we had been charged for 1 or 2 rooms. On leaving at 4am, they finally did provide this. More disturbing was a member of staff charging into our room at 11.15pm, using a master pass to overcome the inside lock. At its worse this could be construed as a break-in. At its best, he might just have wanted to spend an evening in an "unoccupied" room watching the Playboy channel. Pretty upsetting.
Otherwise, the hotel is "grand": tall, large rooms, plenty of space. We found breakfast to be pretty mediocre (and we've travelled a lot around the world), for a supposed 4-star hotel. We weren't disturbed by noises and slept well. Beds were comfortable.
