Big and Average
Overall stay was okay. This is a very large young family-oriented resort that is within a much larger complex which is both a positive (multiple pool choices) and negative (crowded beach area).
Pro
- Room was nice and fairly quiet except for nighty show that went until 10:30-11pm. The Jr Deluxe was on the corner and had extra windows on the side.
- Staff was friendly but many had limited to no english skills
- Nice pools especially at other adjacent resorts you are able to use.
- Liked the tram to get to beach - resort is about 1 mile long end to end. - Like the beach front snack area for location.
Meh items
- Food was pretty typical/middle of the road for this size resort. Le Gourmet was better than average.
- I drove in from other part of country, easy to park and drive back to airport (~40 minutes around noon) - but driving is a bit wild here, especially in towns...
Negative
- Said before - beach area very crowded dedicated for the resort group. Had to get there by 9am to get spot on a nice day.
- Slippery when wet! polished tile is everywhere, take caution! When it rains everywhere is a big dangerous depending on your footwear. We saw a woman down on the walk for more that a few minutes while they checked her out (did get up),
- Minor issue but a nuisance - everything is uplite and shines in your eyes. Meaning walkways can be somewhat dark much of the time and not always smooth and can be slick as mentioned above.
- Be aware of loud music - hit limit...
