Highly recommended. This is a very cozy inn with excellent service from the owner.
The location marked on this site was wrong. We arrived at the street and were not able to find the inn. As we were unable to communicate in Chinese, it made it a little tougher. We sought help from a nearby hotel, which assisted us to call Xiang Yu B&B. Within 5 mins, the owner actually came over and fetched us in his car.
A search in Google maps will reveal the correct location, along Fengcun Road (still walk-able from the train station)

There was a slight language issue, since we couldn't speak Mandarin, and the owner couldn't speak English, but he was quick to use Google Translate on his phone, and we also did the same. That helped a lot. He upgraded us to a larger room as a gesture to make up for our getting lost earlier, which he didn't need to, but we appreciated that.
He provided us brochures and phone numbers for the buses to Taroko Gorge, as well as taxis. As we couldn't speak Mandarin to book taxis, he very kindly ferried us to the destinations we needed to go.
We exchanged contact on line/wechat so that we could reach out at any point that we needed assistance. He paid particular attention to ensuring that we were well fed, asking us what our preferences were for breakfast and recommending food in their quaint city. Overall, the service made us feel at home.
