This hotel is beautiful! We ended up booking an extra night because we loved the area so much. Hakone is a beautiful town full of nature. It’s so green all around. The hotel has a great bakery coffee area where they hand make their breads. There is a bus stop down the end of the road which takes you everywhere. Not a lot of dining options in the town but the hotel has a great little restaurant.

Our least favourite stay in Japan. They do not prioritize guests for their dining, no one greeted us at check-in (we had to hike in the dark from the road up to reception). The staff were SUPER unhelpful and a bit rude. The walls in the room were peeling. Although it is on a bus route, there is not much transportation here. It was a huge disappointment and I wish we could get a refund and have stayed elsewhere.,

リトリートホテルとして期待して行ったが、テレビがない以外は普通のホテルとあまり変わらず、少し期待はずれでした。ヨガや瞑想などのプログラムや、リラックスできる環境が整えられていたら良かったのですが、ホームページに書いてあるようなキャンドルのプログラムもなく、ただ色鉛筆と他の人が途中まで塗った紙が置いてあるだけだったりと、 寂しい内容でした。 施設の雰囲気や食事の内容は良かったです。

Afslapning og oplevelser i Hakone
Dejligt ophold i skønne Hakone. Blev et godt break mellem Tokyo og Kyoto. Gode oplevelser med Open Air museum, kabelbanen m.m. På hotellet var der rigtig gode muligheder for at slappe af og vi brugte også faciliteterne med spil og cafe. Personalet var helt fantastisk.
