When I booked, I had no idea I was renting a room in an apartment in a building! I would expect that from a service like AirBnB but not Expedia. At least this was my personal expectation. I was a bit surprised when I got a call from the property saying that we don’t have a reception and that is not a hotel. Sharing a bathroom was also not an option that I would go for, and that was the second surprise that we need to share the bathroom with other guests. Luckily, there was no one in the adjacent room.

They lie in the description - please read!!
The room was in poor condition. The handle to the bathroom "door" (I use that loosely because it was an accordion door that didn't fully close) was broken and kept falling off. The wood floor was missing a tile or two, creating a very unpleasant hole to step on. They lied about "maid service available on request" because there was never anyone on staff to request it from...just an empty desk. They lied about checkin hours because again, there's no staff, so the email about staff being there until 5:00 p.m. was a lie as well. We had to call management to get toilet paper (took plenty of rolls because it was possible they would never return). Basically, no service, disrepair. The only plus was location, but one shouldn't come at the cost of everything else.

Location, location, location! Can't be much better. But...floor tiles were loose in the room, bathroom door knob kept falling off, and the sink stated leaking on the floor. Still...LOCATION makes this place really good if one isn't too picky.

It was a very basic room, not good value for the price, We had beds that looked like camp beds, squeaky and soft, the bathroom was poor as the shower was small and winder frame was all broken with paint off it, there was no change of towels in two days, no one there all day Sunday to get any, only plus side was the location

Great location, literally behind the Arena, adjacent to all amenities, main shops( cafes, clothes shops, gift shops) tourist attractions Large comfortable room with own bathroom albeit 2 steps across the hall, TV, etc. – hairdryer in all bathrooms, which I took to my room to use – Very tiny elevator, so 4 flights of stairs for me, and 2 days later my leg muscles are feeling it (great exercise) Only down side for me was there was no milk to put in tea, coffee ,and NO shops nearby that I could actually buy a bottle from – So my advice would be to nip to McDonalds and take a few sachets OR ask the hotel in advance to supply some as a request

The staff were brilliant and did as much as possible to help us. We had the room with private bathroom. The room was large and comfortable, but the private bathroom was small, a bit run down and across the hallway so a bit uncomfortable. The other shared bathroom is near the bedroom and the walls are very thin, so we could hear people coming and going in the night, so it didn't feel very private. The location was excellent and the self check in was very good. Overall a fine stay, good for a few days in verona but felt more inbetween hostel and hotel then a hotel.

Brilliant location, an apartment right in the historical centre. Single room was basic (the bed was a small single) but spotless, as was the shared bathroom. The coffee making facility was a pleasant surprise. Antonella’s prior communication and check-in was great.
