Lake Junaluska and the Lambeth are !resilient
Except for the rain on Sunday,This stay was most enjoyable.
Staff were outstanding and most accommodating.
The lake view king great.
We were concerned about how the lake area fared during the storm, and the community’s efforts resulted in a picturesque view minus some tree.
Look forward to our next time.

Place is large and front desk gave us a room facing the a/c units and not the lake. This really was the only reason I booked this inn.
Also, absolutely no food or beverage options at the inn, not even coffee in the morning.

The property sits on a hill looking down the lake which is great, but my room was looking down the ac units and working vans in cubby back yard. The building is old and seems the hotel makes effort to upkeep as to new furniture and decent bedding. However, the bathroom was small and no ventilation fan was working, which it makes humid and feel throughout the hall way. Flooring carpets seems getting old and dark. The refrigerator is working fine, but the phone and alarm clock by the bed seems to be a showing, it doesn’t work. I will check other hotel in next time.

Property needs to be updated room by room. Smells like an old property. Not the worst place to stay but needs to be updated and cleaned inside and out.

Well, I sorta felt like I was staying at the hotel in The Shining. There may have been two other guests there the night we stayed. For a hotel of 200 or so rooms, looks like I was the only one who didn’t do my homework. Think the kind gals who worked up front had a weekly allotment of Mountain Dew to keep from falling asleep. I’m sure this place was something else in its heyday, but that’s obviously passed. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room and AC that consistently worked.

Ok hotel. No outlets available in room
The hotel condition was fine. The room was and bathroom was small. My biggest complaint was there were NO outlets for use in the room that weren’t in use or that we were able to get to. It made recharging inconvenient ( had to plug use an outlet in the bathroom) and since there was no place to plug by the bed it made it impossible to use my cpap machine. I know it’s a historic hotel but some upgrades are necessities in 2024.
