We were really pleasantly surprised by the Red Star. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lovely sitting chair and footrest was an unexpected touch of style. The location is great, with an easy walk to the restaurants and bars at Palm Beach and Currumbin.

The Red Star Hotel offers a world away from the city and the local fish and chips business is a delight to visit. The shopping at Eleanor Shopping Mall is fantastic and the local coffee shops are great. Be sure to check out the beautiful houses that line the beach and are world class along with the beaches. The beds are really clean and very comfortable ⭐️

It was perfect for my aim. The receptionist welcomed with lovely smile. The location was very convenient for dining and shopping. The main reason was to have a good rest between flights from Goldcoast AirPort and it was perfect. It is not 5 star hotel but it was a comfortable size of clean room with bathroom, verandah and carpark. I will definitely comeback for that price.

Friendly staff and access to transport, walkinng distance from Currumbin wildlife, the beach. Friendly and receptive staff. But if you are in the #1 room, you are right next to the stairs so it can get noisy depending on your neighbours, the property is also next to the highway soooo... Not great if you are sleeping past peak hours. Overall very good and very cost effective.

This is a basic motel. Very clean but limited service. It is walking distance to a very nice brunch spot and a beach. The room itself was clean but small. The bed was comfy. The owner was able to accommodate late check in requests.

The lady in reception is absolutely lovely, helpful, welcoming and kind. I had my 3 year old grandson to organize and we were running late for checkout but she was very considerate and offered me extra time. Would definitely stay here again and the pirate park a couple of minutes away is fabulous. Highly recommend both.
