When I checked in the receptionist she did not greet me with a smile or anything. She was quite stuck up and did not have great customer service at all.
On top of that, she gave me a room that did not exist at all. I went to the floor as she stated and the room number did not exist. I then had to go back to reception and the other receptionist told me the room did not exist. It took around 20-25mins to sort this out and the lack of customer service was evident. I would have preferred a little more welcoming atmosphere. On top of all that when I asked about the car parking situation at the hotel, the receptionist just said she doesn’t know anything about it and it’s not linked to the hotel in anyway. On the signage it’s clearly labelled at Hilton hotel car park which is managed by an external company. How can the people that work at the hotel not know anything. It was a disaster.
On a positive note the next day when in the breakfast area, the hosts were amazing. They were so accommodating and welcoming and were so lovely.
