After the front desk person rudely told me that Expedia had supposedly booked 2 rooms under my name, despite me having a regular confirmation email for one room, she told me I had to contact Expedia because the hotel could be charged fees if there was a mistake in the booking and that she "couldn't check me in" until I did. She finally agreed to check us in after going back and forth about the fact that there were no issues on my end and as far as I knew I had a prepaid room already booked--- but she also let us know about a hidden extra fee if you have a dog with you (there was nothing about this when I booked the room). When I saw the state of the room--- dirty, hair in the bathroom, a broken fan in the bathroom with exposed wiring, a horrible smell, and filthy wall to wall carpet --- my family and I decided to just leave and check out immediately and asked for a refund, as we had not stayed there at all. The hotel refused to answer Expedia's calls and 3 days later I found out they refused to refund us at all. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. NEVER STAY HERE
