Great, central, walkable location. I’m confused how when I first looked at room prices, the up charge for breakfast was $20, then when I went to book it was $40. Not sure if that is an Expedia or Holiday Inn issue. In any case, we opted to purchase breakfast items at a grocery store and dined in our room with the help of the mini fridge and microwave. More affordable and customized that way and avoided the confusing upcharge. We easily found a parking spot, even though other reviewers said otherwise. Though it was odd that renovation materials were scattered throughout the parking levels. Upon entering our room, we were met with an overwhelming smell of mold. We were too exhausted to request a new room so we just kept the shower room door shut, since we discovered it was emanating from the shower drain. Confused about the existence of the smell since everything in the room was newly renovated and brand new. Probably was a drainage issue. Let the front desk know about it upon checkout. Only other complaint were the walls were “thin” enough to hear neighbors talking at all hours and to smell the neighbors smoking Maryjane. Couldn’t hear traffic though and temp control was fine, despite what other reviews said. I’d probably stay here again if the price was right.
