The overall experience was very pleasant. Room are small bur cozy, room cleaning service was once every 3 days, the stuff was friendly and caring. I haighly recommend this hotel, especially for the price and location. The 7 Eleven store is right near the hotel, the subway station is right outside the hotel, you can arrive at Expo very quick.

The ZipAir of hotels

This hotel is mostly for couples that just use the room to crash at the end of the night. Come in, sleep and then wake up and leave. The rooms are extra smaller than normal japan rooms and they even charge 1500 Yen per hour per person to swim in the pool whicj is the size of 2 american shower tubs. Almost feels like a hostel with private shower. Definitely not for families.

Apa in Osaka was perfect. It was right above a station. Therefore it was 1 or 2 stops to get to the more populated areas such as Namba and Umeada. It had an Onsen on site to relax after a long day of walking. Overall a great stop to make a home base for a few day stay.

No roomcleaning just new towels, was ok. However information ragarding how to get rid of wst was unclear. We didnt understood how to do until last day when we saw how the room next to us did. And in Japan you tend to bring a lot of waste home after a day... Onsen nice and clean. We didnt try the pool as it seemed not worth the money or the trouble for just the one hour allowed. Staff ok. Ok hotel. No real complaints but no real highligts either.

The room was clean yet a bit small even for Japan. We needed quite a bit of assistance to get the checkin process to work. But they had staff there to help. They do not have enough elevator capacity. We were often waiting. We wished there were stairs however they were only for emergencies (had locks to open). Glad they had a convenience store on site and also laundry. Washers were good but dryers not.

I booked a room for five nights with air conditioning on Expedia. After I checked-in the room was hot. I couldn’t adjust the heat/cold air conditions. It appears the room temperature was controlled by central heating and cooling system. I went to lobby to ask for a change of room, but the receptionists said the hotel was fully booked and can change only next day. They spoke poor English with google translate and gave me a fan that’s very noisy. They even asked me to open the window which faced the highway. I couldn’t get any sleep the night. I booked another hotel and checked out the next morning. I complained to Expedia and Expedia did a great job in assisting me to get refunds on the remaining four nights. Thanks Expedia!!

Second visit

My second stay on the same hotel. In my previous review I had outlined the positive details that still apply during this stay aswell. Such as the good location, the spa-area that is available for the use of the clients. Previously I had praised the good breakfast. This time I went for the buffet during lunch time, and it was as good as the breakfast, but obviously with different kinds of food options on the offer. However there were few little things that could have needed improving this time. Such as the room fridge has stains from the previous client(s) that were not cleaned even during the 2 - times that housekeeping cleaned my room. The planket inside the bed cloth was visibly yellowed and the air conditioning was working poorly, or mediocre at best. the aircon issue was especially pronounced when I moved to my tiprs next Apa hotel in Tokyo after having checked out from this one. In the Tokyo Apa hotel the air conditioning was working well. To be fair I did not bring these issues to the attention, in which case they might have been taken care off.
