Breakfast
Breakfast was purchased through vouchers at reception for $20. The restaurant obviously not run by the hotel management. 8am breakfast was in bain maries but cold. Selection of food was quite good but bordering on dangerous forvthe hot foods. Tables had not been cleared, the lady started to clear as we left at 9am. Toilets were dirty. Do not recommend eating there.

Quaint characterful old style place close to the front and a short stroll to nearby restaurants/shops and an easy walk to the main shopping mall Room servicing not always fully completed but easily resolved by reception The clean warm pool was a welcome feature A microwave, some basic crockery and cutlery and a simple small room safe would have been welcome

The hotel is old and the rooms and very tired. Moved to the Novotel Oasis as have to stay longer than planned. The pool is being upgrade and construction work on site.

We were not aware that the Property was under construction (pool area), it was not a huge issue as the City has a huge Pool at the water front available to All. The Rooms them selves were okay, our shutters on the windows were falling apart. Location is the Properties' greatest Asset ie close to everything.

Ramada Cairns never again
Booked on hotels.com. No mention about there being no pool due to maintenance/reburb of pool. Whole hotel was fully booked but in disrepair. Bed hard as rock. Air con and fan extremely noisy. Room next to stairs and other guests very noisy in night walking past. Shower taps,wouldn't switch off and prepurchased breakfast a waste as nothing looked nice. We ate elsewhere.
