The hotel room was significantly smaller than what is advertised. I asked the front desk about it and they said they only have a couple rooms that size and most guests get smaller rooms than they advertise. There wasn't enough space to walk around the sides of the bed or open the bathroom door more than a foot. The shower and sink drains were slow and backed up quickly. I asked if maintenance could fix the drains and the front desk ignored the request. The hot and cold lines were also backwards.

The little things that made it miserable
It was okay at best, arrived to a modern looking beautifully air conditioned reception, staff were friendly but didnโt give any info around breakfast times etc.
Got to the room which was at 23degrees and air con set to lowest it could be, once we returned later in the night it had risen to 26degreesโฆโฆโฆ bathroom was clean and nice but had a drain smell to it, also shower had little water pressure.
Balcony was nice addition although privacy screens both sides would have been nice.
I noticed they tried charging my card in the middle of the night which confused me, turned out the receptionist at arrival charged the wrong amount, instead of apologising I was just told I had an outstanding charge to pay as if it was my fault!
Also hotels.com booking said breakfast was included in the booking but when we arrived for breakfast we were told we hadnโt paid for it!
All in all, the hotel was nice, modern and clean but too many little things let it down, I wouldnโt be rushing back to an ibis anytime soon.

Our first allocated room was on the basement level and although the room was clean and tidy there was a very unpleasant odour in the room. Probably due to lack of airing.
The room we were subsequently allocated was clean and tidy.
Room lighting dull. Brighter lighting needed.
No towel rails in bathroom therefore nowhere to hang wet towels.

The bathroom was not clean enough. I heard water running in the water pipes at midnight. Loction is great, just 2 mins away from metro link.

The minimum
I don't why hotels staff usually stick the the bare minimum.
I arrived at 1pm, and apparently no rooms were ready before 3pm (really? on a Tuesday?). I was given a room for which you have to take the lift AND the stairs; I asked to change with a room accessible by lift only. I was given the smallest room they had (I saw it from the emergency map). If you are not full, why not given to your guest the best service you can, rather than the minimum? I will unlikely come back here.
