It is what it is for the priceโฆ
The hotel is what I would call a budget hotel; get what you pay for. Didnโt expect much going into it because of the price, but after staying there, the price should actually be cheaper. The hotel is old, and hasnโt had proper renovations, only patch work fixes. The shower curtain was torn, tub had a few deep gashes, smell of the room was musky like they couldnโt get the moisture out with the A/C unit properly (it was struggling to keep the room cold), and there were obvious hand prints on the headboard from the previous occupants โalone timeโ. The bed was lumpy, pillows were the cheapest ones they could find, and although it seemed clean, the sheets did have stains they couldnโt bleach out even though you can tell they tried. During checkout there wasnโt even anyone by the desk, and after waiting and looking for a few minutes, we had to leave to be off to our final destination. Would I stay there again? No. Did it allow me a place to rest? Sort of.
