Loved almost everything about it!

Loved the hotel. It was perfectly located in the old place in the market square. The room was beautiful and our room had a view of the square, which with windows open was a bit noisy, but so worth it! The breakfast was amazing, chose the homemade orange juice, it was remarkable! The swimming pool was nice and the infrared sauna was worth a visit, also loved the ice shower. The changing room was more like an ulockable bathroom. We will definitely stay here again if ever in Hildesheim!

Not a 4+ star stay and no pool

Their first selling point is that they have a pool … it was out of order. Second selling point was that they were 4+ stars … it was an open children’s playground with kids running around in the lobby and restaurant until after 10 at night and again from 7 in the morning. Lastly the restaurant served salad full of sand grains

It’s rhe worst ever hotel to find, all city is under construction. No help from the desk, we was lycky ther was I local mann who ask us after we have been driving around 40 min. about we was looking after the hotal ! Without him we would never find the hotel ! Please write a alternativ road when all roadwork goes on ! It spoiled our night, so we only found the hotel after 00.00 (and there was a deadline for check in 00:00

Great Hotel with a fantastic location

Stunning hotel with an amazing location. Only slight downside is the small interaction we had with the hotel staff was blunt and bordering on rude. The spa was also closed but this was not communicated at check in. May seem harsh on the review, as the stay otherwise was fantastic. Maybe the staff had a bad day, and the 3 minutes I spent with him was completely against the norm.

Not plesant dinner

Vi ´have visited Van der Valk in Hildesheim more times, and this time all was ok, exept our experience in the resturant. We order a before dinner drink, and a 3 course menu, a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. Afetr app. 20 min we aske for the drink, and got the wine, together with the starter menu, and no before dinner drink. We got it after we asked again for it - the water we got during the main course, again after we aske for it. The desert we never got - ok it was not on the bill - but all in all a not plessant dinner. The food was really ok, that the only positiver in that. And the service people was not in a hurry, our had time to averything else than help us.

Lækkert hotel med perfekt beliggendhed

Perfekt beliggende lige på torvet ved de smukke gamle bygninger. Skal du til Hiltenheim så er det her det perfekte sted at bo. Gåafstand til alt. Du har masser af gode restaurer og bar - også hotellets bar/restaurant er fantastisk. Rigtig god seng, køleskab, kaffe på værelset. Fedt poolområde og parkering i kælder via nummerplade. Samlet en super oplevelse!
