The Good:
1. Check in was great, front desk staff was very friendly and efficient.
2. Laundry was free!
3. Location is convenient off the freeway and in a business area, so felt safe
4. The basics in our room were clean...floors, bathtub and sink, linens
5. We had a kintchenette with a fullsize fridge and dishwasher (both we're pretty old and beat up but worked just fine)
6. The price was great, but honetly I'd pay $50 more a night to stay in a better place next time.
The Bad
1. The kichenette cabinets needed a serious wipedown, the toaster was full of crumbs
2. The electric stovetop didn't work very well... it took 20 minutes to cook eggs
3. There was only one window unit AC which had a vent going to the bedroom, but you had to freeze out the living area to barely cool down the bedroom
4. The shower didn't work well... the hotter you turned the water, the less water pressure you had. It was a trickle when turned all the way hot. We did notify the front desk who said they'd fix it when we were gone, but it was the same so I'm not sure if they tried or not.
5. The outside smoking area was close to our room and the hallway reeked of smoke.
6. The room had a weird musty smell.
The Ugly
The hide-a-bed was the absolute worst. A thin spring mattress that was dirty looking. We frequently book a room with a hide-a-bed since we have 2 teens who dont want to share a bed, so I know they're not usually super comfortable, but this one was unbelievably bad.
