The staff was amazing. Our door would not lock in our original room. We were swapped out quickly and efficiently. It was our first, but definitely not our last time with this brand.

Not all its cracked up to be. Room was pretty nasty upon check in, but the cleaners came shortly after to clean it "again". Not enough towels and no sheet for the pull out sofa bed, but the nice lady at the front desk brought some to our room later in the evening. If you plan to bring a boat to the area do not book at this hotel as there is not sufficient parking for boats.

The room was beautiful and very clean. Love the layout. On Sat morning, we did not have access to the coffee in the lobby because they did not open the lobby until 9 am. We could hear TV's and even walking/jumping from other rooms. Pet next door to us kept scratching around on the floor/walls.

Great potential
The concept for this motel is unique. They are not staffed overnight. Late checkins are accommodated via lock box. There is no elevator, so be ready to lug bags up a flight of stairs. Worst of all, it has a separate bedroom but NO DOOR!!! The space is useless without a door. And, there is plenty of room to place a door. I hope they retrofit the rooms with a door.

Check in was super simple and the attendant was friendly. Having a true sitting area in the room was wonderful. It’s only has 2 floors so not having an elevator was not a big deal for us. It took the water in the shower a few minutes to warm up to the hotness that I like it. It’s a completely cashless facility. The only real negative is that there is a $250 deposit that is not mentioned until after you book your room. Yes, you get your money back but it would have been nice to know up front.

I stayed in room 219 and the pull out sofa bed had old food in the sheets and bedbugs. The bedroom had fleas and old pieces of candy under the beds. The front desk staff leave at 7:00pm and there’s no one or no emergency number to call in case of any issues or concerns. I was there for four nights and was told housekeeping only cleans the rooms for seven or more nights stay. There was always a group of male works hanging outside in the parking area being inappropriate. Definitely won’t recommend anyone to stay at this establishment.

We stayed here locally for hurricane Helene as we have terrible trees. The place was very clean. We really like it. The only problem is the water only went from hot to pits of hell. There was no cold water, which made showering a task. Even the toilet water was so hot it was steaming up on you if you were sitting. Not sure it was every room or just ours. Overall we had a great stay though.

It’s not advertised that the lobby closes at 6pm, so there’s no late check in. We only had scalding hot water in the first room and the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly in the second room. I would not choose to stay here again if given a different choice.
