Comfortable

A nice hotel which can be reached by getting the 85 bus from Gara Nord. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. A nice touch to have bathrobes and slippers. The buffet breakfast consisted mostly of continental food types although there were fried and scrambled eggs as well as sausages and another hot dish (changed). It was value for money and not too far from the sights if you are happy to walk 15-20mins.

Place is nice, We've booked a suite on the 4th floor, Nice and peaceful, but I must say you need to have a shower curtains for the bathtub, It was absolute disaster in the bathroom without this, also a little bin in the room can be quite handy, we only had one in the bathroom. Would I stay there again.? YES I will, but please sort out the bathroom shower curtains. Staff is friendly. I'd have given 5 stars if above 2 can be sorted.

A good stay

We had a great stay, the room was big with comfy beds and clean. The bathroom could have done with a shower screen or curtain as the floor got fairly wet after a shower, unless you aimed the shower head towards the wall. The shower was very nice though. Breakfast was good and served for a long time in the morning.

It was a friendly and hospitable hotel, with knowledgeable staff ready to help and provide local knowledge and information. Close to the Old Town area with a metro stop nearby and on the route of a number of trolley buses. Also walkable to the Calea Victoreie main city road. Breakfast is recommended - they provide a wide range of cooked and cold foodstuffs with very efficient service.

Great location. Within walking distance of main attractions, approx 10 minutes. Staff were polite but didn’t offer any tourist or sightseeing advice. Breakfast was plentiful but a strange mix of food options. Room was clean and tidy however there was a strong smell of sewage which didn’t really go away. Walls were paper thin and there was a lot of corridor noise. Our room was an adjoining room and unfortunately we could hear everything the next door room was doing and saying. Bucharest is a lovely city and well looked after. This hotel is ideal if you are just using it as a base to explore.
