A delightful stay
A most enjoyable 1-night stay in this real gem of a hotel in the heart of the countryside. Accommodation, food and service all first class and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

One little moan
Every thing was first class except we do not like the ipad instead of a printed menu.

Not the luxury I was expecting or hoping for.
Not quite as good as we were expecting. There was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room nor was there a room safe or nice “smelliest”.

A Peaceful Retreat
What a beautiful Chateau in the country! It felt like going back in time, and they had a restaurant so we didn't have to leave the grounds. There was no air conditioning in the room but that is normal for most historic homes. Very peaceful.

Charming Hotel with excellent food
Gorgeous charming cosy hotel in beautiful location. Superb food, relaxed atmosphere and walks in the nearby forest. A perfect stopover on our way to ferry whilst avoiding Paris.

Stop-over on return from SW France
Lovely chateau, excellent service and good evening meal. Unfortunately, we weren't able to try their breakfast as they don't start serving until 0830 on weekends, and we had an 1130 crossing.

Lovely chateau hotel full of charm
We had a lovely one night stay and were given a warm welcome. The traditional rooms are not huge, but well appointed and ours had a very nice modern bathroom. The restaurant is excellent and breakfast (extra) was very good. A really nice place to stay in a peaceful location.

This was our third visit to the Chateau and yet again we had an excellent stop over. We love the whole package we get and are particularly happy with the possibility of bringing the dog. Thank you again. We will be back.

Needs a loving renovation
Beautiful house and property, but rooms need updating and upgrading.
The last renovation was probably done in the 70's or early 80's, our bathroom was terrible, a shame in such a lovely historical property. We had dinner on site, expensive, but very good - worth it!

WOW WOW WOW
A stunning chateau within the forest. So silent except for the night time shootings of the owls. We were welcomed by the hostess into her home like guests of the family. Nothing was too much trouble. The ancient chateau was kept absolutely immaculate - not a speck of dust in sight. Cannot recommend highly enough.
