Needed to stop over in Bakersfield coming home after a Memorial Day trip. The Padre Hotel was a pleasant surprise. The hotel has a very nice ambiance, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Padre has a seductive, sophisticated cool that’s hard to beat. The staff were all warm and accommodating, and every detail felt intentional. The bed was like a cloud, the shower like soft rainfall. I also appreciated the smooth coffee and surprisingly tasty biscuits and gravy at Farmacy. Thanks, Padre—I’ll be back

BEST Hotel in downtown-great for romance

This is the best hotel with great customer service, comfort, character, nice amenities and clean. No pool and rooftop bar is not actually THE rooftop…and only open on TH-SU. I believe they’ve taken all measures to make sure this is no longer a party hotel. To the point where things close up a bit early. But this hotel is so adorable and the staff is super friendly. They will go out of their way for you. I highly recommend this hotel is the best hotel in Bakersfield
