This hotel is far from the main street, no shops around. They don't have luxurious suites. But still, I think five stars are not enough for them. I was so happy with my stay, and my only complain here is that they set up my standard of hotel front staffs so high, that I would not be easily satisfied later on.
When I come back to this hotel, staffs always greets me and ask how my day was, and what do I need for next day, like boxed meals, taxi reservation, morning call for early tour, and so on. Sounds pretty much normal. Yes, but usually I have to say 'excuse me, but could you..' for these services. For a shy traveler like me, this helped me a lot! While checking in, I arrived a few hours before my checking in, slept only two hours during 12 hours' bus trip. Marco, who's always calm, polite and also very professional, looked at my awful condition, checked my passport only, and led me to a room and let me rest, I spent less than five minutes for these. I did all the standard checking in procedures, including detailed briefing about the town and self guided city tours, after several hours' sound sleep. How considerate and sympathetic they were!
They have three front staffs, and all of them are very good. I guess they might have a standard manual for taking care of guests.
If I was a hotel owner, I would send all my hotel staffs to stay here, to watch and learn.
When I come to Cusco again, I would definitely love to stay here once again, to meet Marco and his colleagues.
