The room was clean, could have used a couple more coats of paint. The price was pretty high for what it was, the Days inn was the only other hotel near by and it was $20 cheaper a night, but not pet friendly, which the Village Inn was pet friendly. When I mentioned to the only front desk person that the rate was kind of high and that the Days Inn was $20 cheaper, she said but
they're not pet friendly (basically saying that I didn't have a choice) and that the Village Inn was nicer than the Days Inn. I didn't go to the Days Inn but guarantee that was not the case. If you walked around the motel, you would see junk like old busted chairs that should have been thrown in the trash and there were stacks of new windows in the parking lot, but no one was installing them. There was only one person working the front desk, so there was only someone there from 10 am to 8 pm. The breakfast you picked up with check-in, which you got in a styrofoam container to put in the refrigerator and microwave in the morning. I didn't get the breakfast, so I can't tell you anymore about it. I stayed 2 nights and never saw more than 3 cars in the parking lot.
