This is a tough one. Lots of good things and lots of bad things. That’s why I rated it average. The checkin was good, and the room was good, nothing to complain about. However, regarding the room, it did not have a refrigerator. I knew that before booking this trip. I was hoping for a little better service down at the pool area. After several calls to the receptionist desk, they finally sent Angel. Even though he had only 15 days of experience, he did a good job, taking care of me, and the other guests down at the pool. I ordered a cheeseburger from Angel, and it was delicious, exactly how I ordered it. My room had a balcony, but there was no table or chairs to sit on. The way everything else was going I decided to not even try to fix the problem. I checked out the following morning and the daytime receptionist couldn’t even give me a receipt or call a taxi. He gave me a piece of paper with instructions on it as to how to get a receipt online. He told me to walk down a very steep road, and I would be able to hail a cab from there, terrible.
And if I had had a good experience there, I was planning to spend the rest of my three week vacation at that hotel. But sadly it was not to be. According to my very unofficial count, there were about 10 families there. And they did not have enough staff to handle them, even though the hotel has room for hundreds! 👎
