"Since the booking was made for the same day, I wasn’t able to select a higher-priced option that includes free cancellation. I booked this hotel by mistake, as the drive turned out to be too long and we wouldn’t be able to arrive before check-in time. I understand this was my error, but I tried to cancel the reservation within 30 minutes of booking, and the system didn’t allow it. I also attempted to reschedule for a later date, but that request was declined.
I contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com, but haven’t been able to find a resolution. I would really appreciate it if the hotel could be a bit more flexible in a situation like this."
"The location is wonderful and the property takes you back to an Italian old farm. The dinner is an experience from the setting, the wines to the food."
"Most wonderful place to stay near Parma. Our hosts were incredible! Warm, inviting, helpful, informative. The historic farmhouse and grounds are gorgeous, serene, and Unique. Gardens, patios, and a beautiful barn now used for parties. Even a couple of sheep in a pen, and a handful of happy chickens wondering the gardens.
Our apartments were clean and comfy, including a full bathroom, well-stocked kitchen, and a clothes washer. The house is full of antiques, beautiful architecture, and history. Our host helped us find wonderful local places to eat fabulous dinners. And the selections in the breakfast room each morning were absolutely delicious: home baked treats, yogurt, fruit, and more. Not to mention the best coffee of our travels. We felt at home away from home. A true bed and breakfast. Would go back again! "
