Outrageous hotel response
I have a headache because the hotel's hallway and room smell of paint is so serious, but the hotel didn't mention anything about this situation. I've never seen a pathetic case of receiving a guest with just one fan on, perhaps to remove the smell of paint from a hallway where ventilation is not even available. I was surprised by the pathetic and ridiculous reception of the front desk staff who tried to charge the room again at check-out despite paying all the expenses when making a reservation, and then confirmed that the payment was made after a long time when we asked to check it again. On many recent trips, I have had similar experiences throughout the IHG chain. You should take the training of your staff seriously.
