Great stay except for the family who decides to let their child go nuts in the hallway 2 of the 3 days we stayed at 8am. Cool hotel where you don’t have to get in the car unless you’re leaving town. Walking distance to everything!

Not what we expected
The hotel is a little run down. It wasn’t what we expected. Parking was difficult. It was ok. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel, so it didn’t impact our time in Gatlinburg negatively, but we are accustomed to nicer accommodations. We should have done a little more research before booking.

Dirty and unsafe
The check in staff was very friendly and the breakfast biscuits were delicious. The hotel itself was unclean. I used the workout room and it was very dirty and poorly maintained. Our shower did not drain and the faucet did not work. The pool area was dirty. Also, there is an exterior door that was unlocked 24/7 so anyone off of the street could walk into the building unseen.

Ok for what we paid
Location was great, room was simple and clean and staff was very nice throughout our 3 day stay. Fire alarms went off for about an hr on our first night at 2am which was miserable and they couldn’t get the to stop only kept saying no emergency and sorry. Also shower water kept going from hot to Luke warm then back to hot which was not fun seeing it was 20degree and a nice hot shower was all we wanted when we got back to the hotel.
