I think most people book this hotel due to the reception. Yes, it's funny with the robots and the dinosaurs. Just be aware that you do not communicate with the robots, but just use a check-in counter. The rooms are clean and fine, but very "IKEA basic". We didn't expect more; what you see at Hotels.com, is what you get. There was a coffee maker and a fridge. The location is great. Breakfast is okay. We enjoyed our stay and were satisfied. But if you are just there to sleep, and you are on a budget, you might find cheaper solutions just next to this hotel.

The location was very good, but a room smelled strange day after day. I told the staff, but it was said to be moisture and seemed to recognize it. Dust collected into an air-conditioner and the outlet, and I felt slightly dirty.

Although Myeongdong is quite a busy area, there was no noise coming into the room, so sleeping was quite good. The hotel has a minimum staff on site and the check-in and -out are made via some machines, which couldn’t read my (German) passport. Anyway, friendly personnel were available on request to help with that. Breakfast was booked altogether and was ok, heavily directed to the asian taste. It’s definitely a very good option for those who plan to spend a long time in the shopping area around, but also for those who look for a good base for visiting Seoul via public transportation, as it is located less than 5 minutes from the metro station, and with several bus lines stopping close by.

Location was excellent, just a short walk from the Myeongdong station and the main shopping street. Loved the extra-ness of the 2 dinosaurs in the lobby. Only downside was that the bedsheets were slightly stained on our last day :(
